This is a great instrument from a very largemanufacturer and represents excellent bang for the buck, often at abargain price since Samick, while selling some guitars under theirown brand, and their designer Greg Bennett's name, makes a largenumber of 'underbrands' for other major brands and is notparticularly well known compared to majors like Fender, Martin, andGibson. If I saw another for more or less the same price, I'dprobably buy it. Since a used musical item (used,not 'vintage') will generally sell for about half what a new onesells for, I consider $300 with a clean hardshell case to be a fairprice.
